HAYLEY MOYSES and BLUEGRASS FORUM

From the Appalachian Mountains... to Rackheath.

This is what Frank Howe, regional Country Music corresepondant for The Eastern Daily Press, had to say about Hayley Moyses and Bluegrass Forum....

Hayley Moyses: Lead singer and multi instrumentalist. She grew up as part of the Moyses family band who were well known in East Anglia a few years ago. She is sister of world renowned Jazz banjoist Sean Moyses (www.seanmoyses.com). Hayley has been going out as a solo artist and as part of caberet duo show in more recent years but just can't wait to be getting this big new band project on the road.

Mike King : Top dobro player in this region by a mile and possibly in the country! Mike is also right up there as a banjoist . He sings high tenor vocals. He has chased his love of Bluegrass music to America in his time and was well known in country music scene at one time with bands like Denim and Lace etc. Mike has also put himself forward as a country music entrepreneur in his time. He was a founding member of the famous Norwich acoustic band "Spot the Coyote" and side-kick to the late Canadian guitar ace Dan Branch.

"HillBilly"John Bates: The main banjo man and like Mike has chased his love of the instrument and music to America in his time. In recent years he has become well known in the North Norfolk area for his exploits with the Ugly Dog skiffle combo, John is also sings back up vocals.

Justin Breame: An excellent guitar player and, like Hayley, is one of the regions top 'second generation' pickers. His Father Micky is a well known lead guitarist with several country bands over the years (most recently with Kenny Lee & Hustler). Justin is also an excellent mandolin player and he'll/we'll be exploiting those skills also!
